This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have a range of well-developed hospitality service, sales or operational skills and sound knowledge of industry operations. Using discretion and judgement, they work with some independence and under limited supervision using plans, policies and procedures to guide work activities.
This qualification provides a pathway to work in organisations such as restaurants, hotels, motels, clubs, pubs, cafés etc. It provides options for specialisation in areas such as accommodation services, front desk/office food and beverage etc. The qualification also allows an outcome for businesses requiring multi-skilled employees.
This program is delivered face to face in a logical sequence covering all the Elements, Performance Criteria, Foundation Skills as well as Assessment Requirements including Performance Evidence, Knowledge Assessment Conditions. This will assist learners to be able to apply content to a variety of different work place situations. Assessment/s will take place during and/or at the end of a unit/s. Training will be conducted face to face within a classroom based environment, simulated work environments (where applicable) at Level 4, 33 Scarborough Street, Southport, QLD 4215, Australia. Work Based Training (WBT) component of the course will be completed at the workplace where the student/s will be placed.

  • SITXFIN001 – Process financial transactions
  • BSBWOR203 – Work effectively with others
  • SITXWHS001 – Participate in safe work practice
  • BSBCMM201 – Communicate in the workplace
  • SITXCCS006 – Provide service to customers
  • SITXCOM002 – Show social and cultural sensitivity
  • SITHIND004 – Work effectively in hospitality service
Peach institute allow and encourage its student to bring their own laptop computer, tablet etc. or Institute can arrange a loan computer upon request. Student/s can access Peach institute’s internet/Wi-Fi facility for study purpose. Students successfully completing the course will receive the Nationally Recognised; SIT30616 – Certificate III in Hospitality.
The expected completion duration of this course is 52 Weeks (including 40 weeks of study and 12 weeks of holiday) on a full time basis, minimum 20 Contact Hours per week.
Age Requirements
Peach Institute has a requirement that all students must be over 18 years of age at the time of enrolment/admission application, for a training product.
International student Academic Requirements

English Language requirements.
All International Students entering this qualification must have a minimum English Language proficiency level of one of the below:
