This qualification reflects the role of skilled operators who use a broad range of hospitality service, sales or operational skills combined with supervisory skills and sound knowledge of industry operations to plan, monitor and evaluate the work of team members. They operate independently or with limited guidance from others, and use discretion to solve non-routine problems.
This qualification provides a pathway to work as a supervisor in hospitality organisations such as restaurants, hotels, motels, clubs, pubs, cafés etc. This qualification allows for multi-skilling and for specialisation in accommodation services, food and beverage etc.
This program is delivered face to face in a logical sequence covering all the Elements, Performance Criteria, Foundation Skills as well as Assessment Requirements including Performance Evidence, Knowledge Assessment Conditions. This will assist learners to be able to apply content to a variety of different work place situations. Assessment/s will take place during and/or at the end of a unit/s. Training will be conducted face to face within a classroom based environment, simulated work environments (where applicable) at Level 4, 33 Scarborough Street, Southport, QLD 4215, Australia. Work Based Training (WBT) component of the course will be completed at the workplace where the student/s will be placed.

Peach institute allow and encourage its student to bring their own laptop computer, tablet etc. or Institute can arrange a loan computer upon request. Student/s can access Peach institute’s internet/Wi-Fi facility for study purpose. Students successfully completing the course will receive the Nationally Recognised; SIT40416 – Certificate IV in Hospitality.
The expected completion duration of this course is 78 Weeks (including 58 weeks of study and 20 weeks of holiday) on a full time basis, minimum 20 Contact Hours per week.
Peach Institute has a requirement that all students must be over 18 years of age at the time of enrolment/admission application, for a training product.
